However, today’s conventional AI is very compute heavy and burns lots of power. This is a ‘ball and chain’ for mobile or working robots. What is needed is an artificial intelligence that is not a deep static LLM, but an edge device whose software and hardware evolve as the robot learns. This Evolutionary Artificial Intelligence leverages dynamic neural network models which ‘learn’ how to get to the most energy efficient configuration while executing their tasks at the highest level of optimization.
